About

I guess this is where I should be placing the detail about myself. Why anyone would want to learn about me I really don’t know. This area just seems like the Ghurkin on my McDonalds Cheeseburger. Seemingly necessary, an assumed element of the burger that is my blog - yet often overlooked and most of the time discarded. Found occasionally stuck to the bottom side of the table, or in this case, hidden away in a back page. Some will stumble upon it, even enjoy its succulent goodness - but most of the time it will simply receive a disheartened ‘why?’…

The essence of ScottyB is not exciting; rather a complex, rambling and sometimes undecipherable entity. Many have puzzled over the being that is ScottyB. Down to its very core elements, the predominant characteristic of ScottyB must be noted as sarcasm. He thinks of Jesus as a mischevious badger and would have named his children ‘Walker’ and ‘Texas Ranger’ until Ricky Bobby came along and stole the idea. He is often found on tangents - he possesses a mind that wanders and procrastinates and is often out on long service leave, holidaying in the Bahamas and sipping PiƱa Coladas surrounded by disproportionate blondes and voluptuous brunettes.

He has a history laced with excellence and a future that shines like the brightest star in the Northern sky. Beside that false statement, he is a man like any other - always on the lookout for the next best thing, the money tree that is a new opportunity, the things that make life worth living, like boobs.

Once described by David Attenborough as ‘an unprecedented and extraordinary creature. Magnificent and often curious species with which we share our planet’…

On the 17-09-06, he was rated on the National conservation status as Endangered (only 1 believed to be left in existence)…

Some say he sleeps upside down like a bat, his fingernails have 330BHP and that his voice can only be heard by cats. All we know is he is ScottyB.

History will be kind to ScottyB, for he intends to write it in thick, red permanent marker.

My 2004 MINI Cooper S

I’ve always been a car enthusiast ever since I was a kid. I can still remember the poster of the Porsche (993) 911 Targa beside my bed, the classic mini on my desktop. It was inevitable that one day I’d own a drivers car. Little did I know I would have that opportunity years before I ever imagined. From sitting in the drivers seat at the 2000 Sydney motorshow, to placing my order in February of 2004 - to picking it up from Klosters MINI Garage in June 2004. The car that has consumed most of my time and has completely changed the way I live, work and play. I have met some fantastic people through the MINI club(s) and experienced driving and roads unparalleled. My Obsession; always looking for the next kink in the road, hunting for the next series of corners, at home in the bends.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
